On my way to a new me.... Hello and welcome to my weight loss journal. My name is Jenn. I am a happily married stay at home mom of 2. My daughter was born 03/04 and my son 01/05. As you can see they are very close And even though it feels as if all I do all day is chase them around, I still am at a much higher weight then I should be. As of January 3rd 2007 I decided to do something about it. The best part is.... is that I am not alone. My husband is also on his way to a new life. We both have a goal of 45 lbs wight loss. I am also trying to streangthen my core muscles to help with some herniated disks in my back.
Another thing I have changed is that I no longer eat after 8:30. So far this has not been a problem. I am mainly keeping this site up to keep myself on track, but if you happen to stop by feel free to take a look around. If you have any questions let me know.

Well here we are another year and its my husband's birthday again. I made him his fav meal. Meatloaf with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Corn. I also made him a reduced sugar jellow cake with FF cool whip icing. I have no clue what the point are for this dinner so I guessed. haha
Nice time for me to start the diet huh? Also tomorrow we have been invited to meet some friends out for wings... how do I figure those out??
Then finaly we have the superbowl party!! Which I can not wait for!!! All I have to say is.............

As I felt might happen the year got the best of me and some time around July I lost touch with WW points. I feal I have not put all the weight back on... but have not weighed myself yet. (I intend to today)... My old laptop crashed so I have lost all of my tools and info on the program. (so it's like starting at day one).
I found a lot of the info again and think I am off to a good start. I would like to stay between 18-20 points a day. Here is my food chart.

I just wanted to take a min to say hi to all my cyber friends. Sorry it has been so long, but I am still on the program. I weighed my self yesterday and I weigh 157. So my total loss is 18 pounds. That leaves me with 27 pounds to go. Not bad since I started out needing to lose 45. I hope to soon chart my daily food intake again.

Well its been a while since I have been on my computer. Saturday was my birthday and we had a busy weekend. My husband took me to my fav local restraunt The Surf n Turf Inn. So I have been off program for a couple of days. I'm not too worried though. I have no intentions of cointinuing my bad babits. So starting tomorrow I'll be posting my food charts again...
By the way I just wanted to let you know I had a great BIRTHDAY. After we went out to eat we went to see my BIL band (Octane)and they suprised me by playing me a song from Bruce Springsteen. The band learned Dancing in the Dark, so we all danced around the floor like Courtney Cox and then at the end of the song my BIL put out his had just like Bruce & brought me up onto the stage!!!! It was soo much fun. Ohh my the way I should tell you I am the ONLY one in my family that even likes Bruce.
Tomorrow is my husbands birthday so I am going to make him his fav dinner, Meatloaf. I plan to make it low fat with the plan in mind. He said that would be great

In all my research (I am a researcher at heart) about losing weight, the one thing I kept running across was how important water was. It claims drinking water will curve your appetite (yeah right) and boost your metabolism. Of course we all know the recommendation is 8 8oz glasses a day. So yesterday I was digging through my cupboards and ran across a large Tupperware measuring cup I have. It just so happens that it is 8 cups and has a lid. So I filled it up and put it in the fridge, thinking this is a good way to keep track... Well I got my 8 glasses in and then some.
Now I wake up today and have my usual coffee, but not my usual munchie to eat with it. Then of course we all know what happen with Richard Simmons. So I move on to the next task which is on the computer & next thing I know its after 1:00 and I have not eaten yet. So I grab a half of serving of my lazagna and a small salad. And that is it. That is all I've had so far today and its already 10 till 5:00 and hubby is due home at 5:15 which is when I start dinner. Of course I am drinking the water too.
So I don't know if today is just a fluke (cuz I could have ate the cupboards bare yesterday)or what, but I can't wait to see if I feel the same way tomorrow!!!

Today is the day I am going to introduce you all to my dear daughter. In this journal she'll be know as crazy daughter. She is a very energetic 3 year old. Of course she says the funniest things. Like last night for instance... We were all sitting around the dinner table (and this in its self is always a treat) getting ready to eat my Homemade Lasagna,& crazy daughter take one look and says... I don't like Bejauna. So of course we prob her to try a little tast, which she does... She chews it over for a second and then decides she wants to spit it out like she does most things. We wont allow her so she proceeds to wihn louder. At this point we tell her to either quiet down or she can leave the table... She takes one look at us and says... Your ruining my life... hahaha where does that come from?
So this morning we get up and my son (know as bro bro in this journal) finds my Richard Simmons work out tape. I had planned to start this next week, but at the urging of bro bro I pop it in and start today. Less then a half of min into it crazy daughter comes into the room and goes.. Who's that??? So I tell her. She says is that a boy or girl?? I tell her.. she goes WHAT is he doing... I tell her we're working out.. So she watches for a little longer and then she goes.. I dont think I like him.. haha I cracked up at that.. but before the end of the tape I had crazy daughter trying to dance along and bro bro took the opportunity to raid the fridge. .. lol needless to say I need to pick a better time to work out?
